We are excited to announce the collabration between Siemens Energy and National Innovation Industrial Company (NAMI), supported by the Ministry of Energy as part of The energy localization program. This strategic collobration aims to jointly develop 3D Printing applications for Gas Turbine advanced components, mark significant steps towards fostering innovation and supply chain resilience in the kingdom through additive manufacturing.

Siemens Energy, a global leader in energy technology, and NAMI the national additive manufacturer in saudi arabia, will work together to position NAMI as the first external 3D printing partner for Siemens Energy. To pilot jointly manufacturing specific advanced components, to develop local supply chain for post-processing in Saudi Arabia. The collaboration will also establish a robust local supply chain for CNC machining, heat treatment, and coatings, ensuring end-use products are delivered directly within the Kingdom.

Additionally, the partnership will explore future opportunities to jointly develop advanced gas turbine components using high-temperature Nickel alloys, such as Inconel 625 and Hastelloy X. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by building an ecosystem that strengthens local manufacturing, fosters innovation, and reduces reliance on imports for critical energy sector components. This collaboration will drive industrial growth, support the localization of high-value technologies, and position the Kingdom as a global leader in the energy and manufacturing sectors.
