• SLA (Stereolithography): Utilises a laser to harden liquid resin into solid layers. It uses an ultraviolet laser to precisely cure photopolymer cross-sections, transforming them from liquid to solid.
• DLP (Digital Light Printing): Utilizes an  LED projector to harden liquid resin into solid layers. It polymerises full cross-sections at a time, transforming them from liquid to solid.
• EXT (Extrusion): Uses thermoplastic pellets extruded through a heated nozzle to build objects layer upon layer.
• SLS (Selective Laser Sintering): Uses a laser to fuse powdered polymers, into solid objects. This powder-based 3D printing technology relies on a laser to trace the pattern of each cross-section onto a bed of powder.
• DMP (Direct Metal Printing): Employs high-powered lasers to fuse metal powders into strong, detailed structures. High-precision lasers are directed to metal powder particles to selectively build up thin horizontal metal layers one after the other.
